Born in 1970 in Zabok, grew up in the parish of St. Leopold Mandić - Orehovica (Hrvatsko Zagorje). He was ordained a priest on June 29, 1996 in Zagreb. Before coming to Mississauga, he served in the parishes of the Zagreb Archdiocese of Vukovina, Sesvetska Sela, Zagreb - Šestine, Zagreb - Holy Family, Zagreb - Brezovica, Zagreb - Sesvete, Zagreb - Kustošija, and for several years served as youth pastoral commissioner.
